This is the trust of elders in the future.  We plant seeds trusting that those to follow will nurture and care for them.  And, of course, not all of the seeds are for trees.

This topic brought to us this Friday by Grannymar.  I am late in my offering, but many of the other active Loose Bloggers – listed with links on the right – are going to be right on time I trust.

  1. I have often planted gardens or flower bulbs when I knew I wouldn't be staying in the house. I knew the next person would enjoy them.!

    1. it seems like planting the good seeds is a big part of your life, Delirious! I should think that is how you would view your missionary work.

  3. I did not know 22 years ago that I would one day be walking under the ten trees that I planted across the road from our home. Today, thanks to those trees, our road has been named North Avenue!

    1. I will do a post on old pretty soon (but a preview is that my use of it is an expression of my sense of humor). I love that you planted those trees, though. I love even more the continued sense of kinship you feel with them.

    3. Not much linkage there, shackman. You know, a little non sequitur.

Also, I don't know why every time you comment I have to retrieve it from Spam. That seems weird.
